My friends at AMC decided to do a Final Fantasy 8 cosplay for Fanime! Unfortunately, they were short of a leader; who was to do Squall? Henry to the rescue! Having debuted Squall at AX99, I wanted to give his outfit at least another chance, since the first time around it was a bit of a rush job. But by now, FF8 has hit mainstream, and Squall cosplayers were popping up left and right! The Japanese ones in particular were excellent, giving me almost no chance of competition. I needed a way to make my Squall stand out, but how?
